Gigi's and Black Swan Party

Normally fake boobs and big blonde hair is such a turn off for me but this aging-stripper-style beauty really caught my attention. She was obviously intoxicated enjoying a night on the town with her rich sugar daddy and loving her life, her outfit is simply perfectly suited to her seeming lifestyle and she does it with high quality duds and a super sexy attitude so that is why she has made it.

Love the big western style belt buckle!  With such a cute and tiny obviously over-worked-out body she is the ideal candidate for her Frankie B jeans, which cannot be worn by just anyone.

Love love these stripper wedges and the trashy french pedicure is such a perfect detail! I want them for myself but they are her crowning glory in this lady-of-the-night ensemble that is done with such a luxurious flair.

This is my favorite look of all, she was so chic.  Love that exotic skin clutch and the red Giambattista Valli wannabe shoes are just a very sweet flourish on an already spectacular outfit, shes a natural.

These girls look good, but I am still unconvinced by the backless bra type bodice.  Seems a little much but she wears it well, I just can't decide if it is trashy or sexy.  I know this is an expensive Black Halo dress but paired with bright white shoes - ugh!  It is just too close to a sports bra for me and that is really not a good thing.  I'm sure the boys love it though.

This is a very personal touch,  I admire this hippie chick for being true to her animal loving self, see the buttons below?  To me that means she wears this cute little backpack like everyday - my favorite kind of fashion is the kind you live in constantly, love it.

Just ignore that dude, I do not know why these weirdos are always jumping into my pictures, like hello I am trying to capture the outfit not your party moment, and get that drink out of here!  good maxi and it touches the ground too!

I am so into maxi dresses but they must must be done right like this one so is.  They must touch the ground no matter what which is why they look so hot on shorties and make them look taller.  On super tall super studs like yours truly they cut off at the ankles, not a good look.  good print here too and I love that she is not yanking the top up like one is usually doing with a strapless.

His shoelaces match his Tee!! that is soo fashion and I think he has totally nailed the colorful hip hop look.

This guy was the coolest guy I have ever seen, he looks so chic first of all then he sat and ate a full meal all by himself with not a hint of nervousness or any insecurity.  I know it is hard to eat out alone and I so give him major props for his supreme confidence.

Love love love, great silhouette and shoes and I am so into that belt and the way it blings!

Red Door and CAMH Steel Lounge Underground

Nice bandage dress! She is totally hot, great hair, great clutch. She is dressed for her figure which is such a good thing because so many girls do not know how to silhouette themselves.

Another pair of the fakey leatherish leggings, these are from Target and they look more high gloss than the others. I also like her use of the pink peeking through the sheer rather than naked underneath - much more tasteful don't you think.

Great Volume! Great Boots!! She rocks, great modelly slouch too if she were taller I would find her very attractive, other than that I love her look - another good silhouette if you can pull off the slouchy booty look more power to you, its very fashion forward!

Talk about seasonless dressing, this girl is in suede boots with a straw fedora style hat. Shes confusing me is it fall or summer? Cutoffs are of course now an all year round item but I am absolutely obsessed with seasonless dressing, as long as it works like this one does.

Hey Balenciaga Bags are suitable face replacements for me anyday. These are those Kova and T leggings with the stirrups, I will never do stirrups because of past experiances but she is pulling it off.

He is just very cool, simple outfit and crazy hair with some funky tennies. I am not sure about this being fashion but I think he gets bonus points for making his own tee.

Only took this because his skull belt buckle is encrusted with rhinestones, what do you girls thnk about men who wear sparkly accessories, I am doubtful but intrigued.

Matching shoes and hat, its a very special dude that can wear stark white leather car shoes and major homemade jewelry seriously. This man is a true artist with his outfit and I think that is because he is actually a real live artist.

So love this homemade jewelry, its all these spare computer and cellphone parts. He is an artist from TSU, I am such a fan of Jewelry that is made of trash.

Sam Taylor Wood Artist Talk and 002 Party

Perfect outfit for a nerdy artist talk with a no-show artist, very preppy pieces but his carefully controlled scruff and lapel pins keep him from turning into one of those third coast boys tryin-to-do-a-yank-style.

Three cute girls and a fabulous piece of art behind, great juxtaposition if I do say so myself. These must be vintage threads, especially the yellow frock on the right.

I do not know how this chick pulls off the bright red dress and the green shoes without being Christmas.  She does though and I have to give her appropriate props, even if she is wearing that kaffiya thing which was cool three falls ago but is now a bit tired.

I seriously do not want to see these shoes ever again on anyone.  If you have them you should store them away for several seasons until everyone has worn theirs through then pull them out again when no one else will have them.  Isn't it October  - what is going with all the sandals and boots at the same event?  I love living in Houston right now as we are leading the seasonless dressing trend of course.  barely two seasons around here.

This outfit is to die for I deem it absolutely flawless, the boots and the white shirt are totally timeless.  Soo casual and still so put together, love her.  She actually reminds me of a certain Vogue editor.

This pair do not even know each other but they showed up in the exact same outfit.  I was stunned and so were they.  Seriously right down to the owl pendants they are both wearing, having fashion forward dress sense can be a spooky thing.

They are practically twins, this is a very wierd phenomena - not unlike the tributes on the feet of every other girl there.

I am obsessed with fringe, this is a flappery tunic that looked a little tattered (which I love) over skinny jeans, good job except matchy-matchy is never very cool...or is it?

This chick is in white pants after labor day, quel horreur! jk the rules are made to be broken baby, a girl after my own heart.  ugh those sandals again, but a cute beaded smock dress makes up for her obvious footwear.

this is the girl in the sparkly tributes, ruffles done well are a rare thing indeed.

I asked this guy where he got that sharp jacket, he said Zara Man so I have got to check out the mens section next time around.

Talk about seasonless dressing - a fascinating concept I must admit - he is in buttercup yellow pants with a charcoal cardigan, very transitional of him.

These YSL Tribute sandals are ubiquitous now, must have seen 5 pairs at this party alone so you can bet you will never find me wearing them. Try not to be so clone-ish girls, at least not all at once! I actually like the sparkly ones above the best but I stand by my abstinence from the tribute.

This will be a familiar face, Carla always looks immaculate in a cool bobo way.  Love love these Gucci boots which are set to be a cult item this season.  I think that bag is a party favor...lets hope so.

Outside the Museum and Red Door

Boots and linen blazer are an easy answer to museum party dressing.  I cannot get over these guys and their chest cleavage...its so racy but only as long as there is no trace of hair anywhere near.

OMG my favorite kind of cleavage!  Toe Cleavage!  The sexiest shoes ever - they are way beyond a peep toe, these are porno toes.

I didn't touch because she was a little weirded out but I bet it feels like a little slice of heaven. Maybe Philosophy? One of my fave pics, good thing I didn't get those flatty silver slingbacks she had on with it.

And the back is to die for, the backless look is only for those girls who can get away without a bra and have copious amounts of double sided tape.

CAKE party

These are the two owners of CAKE, an online boutique soon to be a real live store.  I love a good leopard print dress with black patent louboutins.  Leopard is a don't unless it looks this good.

Jbrands, a silky Chanel shirt with cute buttons down the side and a Fall 08 Gucci bag.  She can do no wrong, if you like skinny belts.  I prefer a bigger, meaner buckle but thats me.

NERD Concert

Keep thinking about this chick, she was easily best dressed in the house and apparently Pharrell thought so too because he pointed her out of the crowd and called her up on stage.  I think it is important for fashionistas to take risks and are those the Dior shoes from the Sex and the City movie that everyone was obsessed with...or are they the steve madden or bakers knockoffs?  guess we will never know, which is a good thing.

Sorry these are blurry they are the best ones of Pharrel's tee that I got.  This is a shirt by the artist KAWS whom he collects.  Pharrell's style is the inspiration for most of the people below and he started the skater-geek-that-loves-color hip hop look, his pieces from the Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream lines are wearable collectables if you can pull it off.

This guy is rocking Ice Cream accessories, he was one of two incredible drummers onstage that night.

He said he didn't even wear his finest duds!  Popping colors are such a Hip Hop trademark along with cool clear glasses.  I get the feeling that those might be Rx though.

Minnetonka boots already and feather earrings, she is an effortless dresser.  I know this because no one who tried could pull off feathers and fringe in the same outfit, its all in the attitude.

Billionaire Boys club Jeans are the Pharrell fan's uniform, and she looks great too in a chic waist coat and black leather and chains bag.

Had to get the back pockets of these BBC jeans.

Both of these guys are really on trend but not in an obvious way.  This guy gave me his card and it says "Best Writer Alive," confidence is such a necessity when wearing that hat at such a jaunty angle.

This trio must have gotten ready together because they are totally matching.  Great hats on all of them and those shoes are super sexy stiletto platforms from Aldo.

The best maxi dresses drag the floor, she is simply chic with the jean jacket and wooden bangle.

He must be a model!  He definitely has that "Model Off Duty" vibe, and I've been noticing that guys v necks are getting lower and lower, when his plunging neckline goes lower than hers you know its fashion.

Doing the nerd chic thing with clear glasses and a bandito style checkered bandanna.  You can't see but he is wearing a hot pink G-Shock watch just like Kanye.

You know this guy isn't trying to be fashionable, he just so is.  That is how the best do it, they just throw their clothes on without giving a thought to trends.  I think he is a real live nerd but he rocks.

I am obsessed with hip hop style!  This is a polished Hip Hop look, he gets it so right.  I think that is a KAWS tee under his leather jacket. If you want to know about KAWS then check him out at www.kawsone.com.
