july 4 er...9

hey party people so sorry i have been missing in fashion for the past few days..weeks, not that long really. anyway i know all you guys really care about is what i've been wearing (thats if you are a true blue die hard like i am, and thats who i'm writing this for just makin sure) so i'll get to the good stuff.

basically i have been in a long series of mini, maxi and midi dresses as the heat in the H is stiffling and i hate to feel sweaty...excuse me fashionistas and working out are like two magnets that do not want to touch and so they push each other away. at least thats how it is around here, anyway i kind of hate workout clothes so thats a good reason you will never find me in them. i'm just gonna make a list of the little dresses i've been wearing and throw in the right now outfit which is pants..

today i wore my new kid rock tee and black nudie skinny jeans that are oh so comfortable, but a little steamy actually - i only wore them b/c they look right with the rock tee, so that was to work

then i changed into blue jean cut offs that are way too big and so fall to just the right spot on the thigh and are not too hoochy (think they actually belong to the sister so lets keep that quiet) and the kid rock tee bc it is amazing and i didn't want to take it off. it is kind of like that old guns n' roses tee with the skulls with the rock hair and the hats, but this is just one big skull with kid rock hair and a slash style top hat and a fat cigar, and on the top it says kid rock in hot orange and yellow letters, seriously it is the perfect shirt i had to bribe my bf to buy it for me at the concert with a dinner at barnaby's and it was so worth it. it has the perfect slouchy jersey fit and the amazing vintagey worn in graphic and i just would live in it if i didn't have to wash it.

so now since we are going to see bruno later i changed into my alex wang zipper boot cut jeans, another fave, and my alex wang nude krystle heels (that i have been living in) and a blue plaid with the tiniest pink stripe pearl snap with the sleeves rolled up, this is a guys large so it is really oversize but i needed a summer pearl snap and this one i looove...

oh and i've been carrying the yellow balenciaga since awhile ago in case you forgot...anyway so now i am gonna make a mini dress list and these are the things you will find me in at work or out with the bf or anywhere it is too hot to wear jeans which is everywhere if you live here.

so spent most of a recent paycheck at charlotte russe..pause for dramatic effect, i never thought i would go in there but we get the cutest little dresses from them in the shop so i thought i would check it out and guess what i found?

white strapless empire july 4th dress that has a dark blue trim at the waist and down the side of where the dress wraps in front and two little blue buttons right below the bust, sooo cute, looks like rag and bone and i wore it to a v fun lobster party and got stuff all over it

blue strapless oxford style dress with dolce gabbana style bustier stitching that is totally perfect for work, i also got this one in green oxford cloth

black super mini with ribbon tie and tuxedo style ruffles down the front bib area, this one is a wear only to the bf house and nowhere else dress.

black and white jones new york tunic dress with leaf graphic print and cap sleeves

bright blue midi length dress that has a wrap top that you strap down over your boobs and tie around underneath, in love with this one though the bf doesn't like it

black maxi dress that of course touched the floor and has a smocked tube like top an empire waist and little spaghetti straps, looks great with a teeny little misfits tee underneath or a cropped denim vest over...is that all, im trying to think

how many is that, not alot but i have been servin these up over and over b/c they are comfy in the heat, normally with black or tan ballet flats and the trusty neon bag or if its evening or i feel like being tall i'll wear the wang heels b/c they are still so amazing...im not so proud of this summer wardrobe but its too hot to wear most of my jeans, they just feel way too heavy in the daylight...anyway so thats the update for now...oh i've also been wearing my garagey blue rick owens bias bootcut denims with all sorts of tees cuz they are super thin and very light and go well with almost every top i feel like putting on

duuuudes...i went to austin and it was a fiasco as usual but at least i looked good!  hahaha, so i'll clue you in to the looks i did then i wanna talk about my fave fall collections as they have been gnawing at the back of my mind for a little while now.

Saturday i had a practice test in the morning then went to austin in the afternoon and did a whole day look to night transition thing that i am pretty proud of

so ive been working for the past few days and so my outfits have not been so hot for some reason, i've been off so here is what i wore - im trying to remember...

friday: 

perfect tissue thin and amazing color pink tee

black cotton highwaisted elasticized skirt from the target - has two little mini pockets on the sides

tan zara ballet flats

 then i got dressed to go out and i wore 

my favorite white bleached out rick owens drkshdw jeans and you wont believe what happened, they fucking started coming apart again - they were so perfectly formed to my ass and i had to wash them bc i spilled cherry diet dr pepper on them and so they shrunk a smidge and were kinda stiff and super tight and they are so delicate that they started to get another little rip in teh crotch...i am going to have them fixed and reinforced in that area bc i can't have my favorite jeans ripping everytime i wanna wear them...also i have gained like 10 since i first got them but they still fit perfectly b4 washing so i know they will again - just have to be very very careful with my babies... also i won another pair of this bias cut jeans on ebay that i am soo pumped about and they are a size up so they really should fit, and if not then they will just be cool and baggyish so i willwear them like that - i think they will fit tho anyways..moving on

i am soo excited i got my wang heels without bobby!  they popped back up on ebay for 125 less than they were in the store, worn once - someone won them b4 but i guess they didn't pay so they went back up and i pulled some shady credit card moves and bought them now!!!  i am sooo excited i am soooo excited..and i am really glad they were not 900 dollars like the other black blake ones with the rings - im sorry i love you mr wang but 600 in the store does not mean 900 on ebay - thats just blatant and disgusting greed.

soooo...i got my yoox stuff today and i love love love them both! i would put some pics but can't make the damn things work so ill just tell you...

one pair of black denim and black stretch jersey skinny jeans that are really more like leggings.  they have black denim paneling on the outside of the legs and a jersey panel down the center/inner thigh and calf area and another denim spot in the uhhh crotch/saddle area. i am so in love with them, they are drkshdw my new favorite label that i have been amassing like crazy since the main rick owens line is way out of my budget and this one is all about denim my favorite material.  i am pretty sure he designs all of his lines anyway so technically it is real rick owens even though it is the bridge line for denim and fur - my two favorites no shit.  they are so frickin coool, i am obsessed with them - they will seriously serve me well i can already tell i am about to be living in them

one drkshdw black denim/canvas duffel bag with no zipper - i was afraid this thing was gonna be too small to use as a subversive replacement for my studded zara bag but its actually way way too big, it would be a perfect travel bag if it had a zipper but it doesn't so i have to figure out what i will use it for but i am sure i can think of something, i am soo  happy it is big and not small its like a bonus! and i say subversive bc there is a screen print of the ricker - pet name for my fave designer -sitting at a table where there is a bottle of liquor on the table and he is holding a 9mm pistol in his mouth and pulling the trigger with a spurt of blood and brain shooting up out of his head...yeah so its intense...theres also a little silver panel that says "there is a palace that opens only to tears"  i know right, very rick which i love.

jewels - oh and i found out my 4 pairs of hoop earrings are ready!! but i told her not to send them until she can send the custom made chain too since this is etsy and we should be earth friendly, right?  right.

so i talked to bobby at barney's and he was soo disappointing telling  me that my dam wang heels were all sold out, well doesn't he know i obviously know this already and i want him to pull some magic moves and get me a pair...why else would i enlist him?  to sell me shoes that i already know i want and have chosen what color and what size and everything already...no no no i don't think he understands i want him to search them down and get them here for me to buy...duh  bobby if you are reading this you know now what i mean when i say "you have got to get me those wang heels!"

light blue acid wash pencil leg american apparel jeans, kinda high waisted and pretty comfy except the scrunch at the bottom is a little off, like not skinny enough so i cuff them in a little roll up which shows the inside color which is a nice blue without the acid

little tan suede ballerina flats from zara, my fave ballet flats by far they have a little bow and are super comfy unlike others ahem...steve madden are you paying attention

little white tee shirt, kinda cropped and boxy and i got stupid pumpkin scone on  there and was so pissed off bc the point of my outfit was the clean perfection of the white tee, which i pretty much never do to work but i thought since it was a holiday why not look nice instead of rocked out like normal

hey you guys, hope all you hardcore fashionistas out there are dressing your shit up just like me.  today i wore a cool outfit - simple but still good.  very unusual for me to wear the same pair of jeans two days in a row bc i feel obligated to rotate my collection but wore the balmain's again today, also got some new earrings all the way from Argentina, they are verdigris copper and i looove them but i am retarded and wore them in the shower so a bit of the deep patina i asked for rubbed off..so i am getting some new ones and plan to keep these for rainy days and pool jewelry.  I am so in love with etsy right now, i got the artist to do 4 more pairs of her perfect hoops for me in different finishes and she is also gonna do a custom sterling silver chain for all my charms and shit.  I can't wait - it will probably take months but it is soo worth the wait.  hooray for etsy!

so i know you guys are probably wondering...did she wear her heels to lsat class at 10 in the morning after the kills concert, and the answer i am ashamed to say is no.  I guess im just not as big a hard ass as i thought, i could barely see straight to read so flats were in order also my feet were killing me from the night before, those zara booties are fuckin killers dude they are not balanced at all and suck to walk or stand in so i had to take them off b4 the kills even came on and was standing in my tights...anyways wore them today anyway to sit at lsat class and walk to and from the car which wasn't so bad

ok so tomorrow is gonna be a whirlwind for me, first i have to drop my doggies at the vet to board and find out what time i have to pick them up on sat, then off to work at the store and hopefully get alot of hw done at the same time, then off at five and hightail it off to Itchies house to change into my concert outfit for the 2.5hr drive to austin to see my favorite band ever - the kills!!!  for the second time, i am sooooo obsessed!  they start at 10, then want to check out the horrors that are after them and then back in the car back to Htown where i will go to sleep asap hopefully b4 4am cuz i have to wake up at like 8:30 get my ass in gear for lsat class at 10 am saturday morning....doesn't that sound like fun???   just wait till you hear what i will be wearing, i have it all planned out, here we go

soooo went to an event tonight and my outfit was an easy one that i didn't have to work at, i was feeling lazy so i let my cardigan do the talking

yigal cardigan, grandfather length with lots of teeny tiny buttons and the rib at the hem and sleeves has a little ruffle below it, the color is cobble...makes a big statement in a soft voice...sublime and it has the same kind of toned down hue as the tank, i did get hot even though it is soo so thin - i absolutely am in love with this piece

so as promised another outfit for you all to ponder over...today even though i completely thought i had the day off i whipped up something fun when i realized yes i really did have to work today, only till 3 but still it was a quickie...when you have such radical pieces like i do (i dont like to brag but im not really, they are pretty rad) you can come up with something that makes a little sense and is also a little edgy and a bit hard edged rocker chick all at the same time - in like no minutes flat.  so today i wore
